Hi all, I hope this doesn't seem like an advert, but.. I am the sales
officer for the Anglesey Antiquarian Society, the publishers of the first
edition of Ships and Seamen this was a hardback book. The Maritime Museum at
Greenwich published a soft back edition which does look like bound
photocopies. The society have looked at republishing it but at the moment we
have 2 books in the pipeline and funds are limited. We wouldn't mind a page
or 2 being copied but like all other books many pages copied breaks the
copyright. £69 is excessive, when I manage to obtain a secondhand copy for
members they are usually about £25 or sometimes less. The society have a web
site at
www.hanesmon.btinternet.co.uk where you can see the books we have
published and information about our Transactions which include some
excellent articles about Anglesey. The postage to New Zealand is more than
the book I'm afrad. I am working on putting the whole of the Transactions on
CD but this will be finished sometime next year. If anyone needs help
regarding anything please let me know off list.
