Some time ago, I wrote for some information regarding my Taid, Thomas Henry Owen(s), said
to have been born in the Niwbwrch/Newborough/ Bodedern area.
Some, but very little, progress has been made by me in my research for the period prior to
1891, when I believe he was shown, aged 10, living with a step father, Owen Owens and his
family in Abermenai Road Niwbwrch. I would like to find a window which might lead me to an
open door through this long standing brick wall.
I am a member of the Gwynedd FHS and I notice that the Publications List refers to
Memorial Inscriptions in Anglesey. There is the possibility, however slight, that there
are some family memorials in some cemetery. Would a Lister reply with the names of the
cemetery(ies) with the most connection with the Newborough/Bodedern area so that I can
apply to the Society for a copy of the relevant publication(s). Many cemeteries are
listed, but I do not know which one(s) would apply to the area that I am currently
researching.
One last point is that there is the probability, if not certainty, that the family were
Calvinistic Methodists.
Many thanks,
Jim [Y Rhyl]
