Have you tried running a search on the Rootsweb World Connect database called
Willperf?
You should find many references to Robert Thomas and Jane Owen.
Good luck,

Hello Dave,
Me again! Further to my last mail -----
Some more info for you. I gave you the details of Robert THOMAS and his
family on the 1891 census with his father missing but obviously not dead as Ann is
not described as a widow so as I have the whole of Anglesey 1901 census on
fiche I had a look and sure enough he had come back home!
1901 census RG13/5278 page 44 - Llanfihangel Esgeifiog.
Robert THOMAS head, marr. age 37, occ. Railway Plate layer. born Pentraeth.
Ann THOMAS,wife, age 40, born Llanfihangel Esgeifiog (children same birthplace)
Owen THOMAS, son, age 18, occ. Railway porter.
Mary J. THOMAS, daughter, age 14
Willam THOMAS, son, age 11
Maggie THOMAS, daughter, age 7
Arthur THOMAS, son, age 2.
Robert the son aged by now about 16 is not at home so must be working away
somewhere.
So, we have the father Robert THOMAS aged 37 at 1901.
