Hi Jean,
Have you been to Genuki? Pary's Mountain site is excellent also.
Gathering the Jewels, Rootsweb, are all excellent. Let us know what sites
you have visited already.
Also, if you get back far enough and they followed the naming system of
Wales, you will find that Pritchard is derived from Richard. Someone was
son of Richard.

First of all I want to thank everyone for the help they gave me. I
have
stirred up interest in the family on this side of the family , and all
would
like to learn more. I have the names and death dates of the parents, 1841
census and 1871 census. Also copies of the death cards or funeral cards.
The
name is Robert Pritchard and Mary Hughes from Llangeinwen, Anglesey, Wales
(Hope I'm writing this right). In 1841 Robert was 40 and so was his wife,
there were 5 children: Ebenezer 12, Sarah 9, Ann 8, Dorothy 6, Ellis 4,
and
Robert's mother Ann living with them. The 1871 census just showed his wife
Mary aged 73 with est. birth year 1798, civil parish: Beaumaris, town
Beaumaris ,County Anglesey, living alone and looks like it says she is a
pauper.
I would like to find more, are there any sites that have info for this
area that are free. I am a widow on a tight budget and can't aford sites
like Ancestry etc. ?
Ebenezer is the family line we are, he came to US in early 1850's and
also changed last name. Would like to learn more about his parents. Thank
you for any help in leading me in the right direction. Jean
