Hi Keith. Thankyou for showing an interest in my research. But I believe
Elizabeth Ann would be 8yrs in the 1891 census making the marriage I Hope about
1883 ish . have been down the line for a marriage in Llandegai also a birth
in Rhoscolyn, also a birth in Rhoscolyn and a marriage in LLandegai. .Have
located a marriage of two Morris Owen[s] and both are married to a Jane , so
you see my problem unless I can locate the birth of Elizabeth Ann [which will
tell me her mother's maiden name ]. The two Janes are Pritchard married 1882
in Bangor Register Office [but cannot locate them in the 1891 census when Jane
Pritchard would be 30yrs and Morris Owen would be 30yrs with a daughter
Elizabeth Ann aged 8yrs.] The other Jane is a Jones this marriage did take place
in 1875 in Rhoscolyn and this family does tie up with the family which you
have in the 1891 census Morris being younger than Jane by 3/4yrs when they got
married and 7 yrs in the 1891 census. I am inclined to accept this family is
mine, but to be marrried in 1875 and have their 1st child in 1883 seems a
long time to me but need to make sure before I proceed further back in my
research, and discard the Jane Pritchard marriage. So the bottom line is to find
any Morris Owen who has had a child named Elizabeth Ann about 1881- 1884 ,
thinking Jane might have been a 2nd christian name.Elizabeth Ann was maried in
1903 to a Hugh Owen at Bangor register Office she was then 20yrs hence being
born in 1883.
