Cyril
I have a copy of the book "Holyhead and The Great War" which lists the units
in which the men and women of Holyead served during the First World War and
also gives their addresses. I am afraid I could find no mention of your
grandfather, although I know from experience that the book is not 100%
accurate.

Subject: [AGY] War Records
My grandfather Richard Roberts, of Go Du Farm, Penrhosfeilw, Holyhead,
served in the First World War and fought in France. However, I do not know
in which regiment he served, and have not been able to find records of
enlistment for servicemen from Holyhead. Does anyone know where such
records can be accessed?
