Hello to Robert,
Thanks for your letter. Thanks for the 1841 look for the Richard DAVIES
family.

I am having a terrible time locating the parents for my Richard DAVIES.
His
children were all christened in Beaumaris.
In the 1835 Pigots I find him
Pigots Trade Directories for North Wales
1835
Joiners, Beaumaris
DAVIES, RICHARD; New Street
Somewhere between this 1835 info and the 1851 he moves his family to
Lancs.
On the 1851 census he states he is 51 years and a retired joiner,
Denbigh,
and he is in Everton, Lancashire.
On the 1861 census he states he is 64 years and was born in Llanfair
Dolhairan, Anglesey, Wales. He is in Liverpool.
Where is Llanfair, Dolhairan on the map, please? I see 2 of them.
Could this possibly be Llanfair Talhaiarn in Denbighshire ?
On the actual census page for 1861 the birthplace is very clearly Wales,
Anglesey,Llanfair Dolhairan
If I can believe these census, he may be born ~ 1797.
So, if someone has the 1841, would you please see if he is in New Street,
still? Richard DAVIES, Margaret, Griffith, John, Jane, Richard,
Anne.
Thank you for reading, and if someone could help me, I would be very
grateful.
I don't see Richard Davies anywhere in the 1841 census for Beaumaris.
Robert is there another section for this Anglesey, Llanfair, Dolhairan? If
he is a retired joiner now maybe went back to where he had lived. I am
baffled, your finding nothing of him, as he is not found in Liverpool, England,
either for the 1841.
Does anyone have some more suggestions? I would welcome any thoughts.
Regards,
Marjorie in NV
