A Griffith Williams is listed in 1841 aged 25 living at Cottage Lane
Beaumaris, with his widowed mother, Mary, brother William and sister
Jane. I think this is the right family as in 1871, Jane Haines is listed
as an Aunt living with Isaac and his family (and Father in Law).
I find Isaac listed in all the census returns from 1841 to 1901 for
Wales or Lancashire with the one exception of 1851. I would very much
like to find confirmation of his parents - or indeed his siblings and
children - but the 1841 census point seems as far as I can go at the
moment.
Isaac's siblings' names - I see a Mary in 1841 too, aged 10 as well as
William & Jane both aged 15.
In 1841 Griffith and his brother William are "SMITHS".
You say above you have Isaac in the 1841 but I cannot find him - only those
siblings above are with Griffith Williams the widowed father and I too cannot
find him in 1851.
I think this is Griffith Williams in 1851:
Cottage Lane, Beaumaris
Griffith Williams, Head, widow, SMITH, b. Beaumaris
Thomas Williams, son, 6, b. Beaumaris
Griffith Williams, son, 5, b. Beaumaris
Jane Williams, Servant, 25, b. Beaumaris (could be Griffith's sister)
and in 1861 - Griffith has remarried:
Chapel Street, Beaumaris
Griffith Williams, head, 45, BLACKSMITH, b. Beaumaris
Ann Griffiths, wife, 50, b. Llanddona
Thomas Williams, son, 16, b. Beaumaris
Griffith Williams, son, 15, b. Beaumaris
Hannah Williams, dau, 13, b. Beaumaris
Mary Williams, sister, 38, Servant, b. Beaumaris
