Hello John,
You're in the right place for those surnames!
I have Owen, Hughes, Jones and Williams also that I've just been
recently (in the last couple of years) put together. As of this
time I have nothing in Canada or Australia that I know of. I also
have 2 Chesters! But no Canadian geese. I have alot of immigrants
from Anglesey mostly between Aberffraw and Llaniestyn that came
to NY or there abouts, so might be a connection. Email me off list
and I'll send you a list of the immigrants. We have 5 different Jones
lines alone, but we're going to have to be a little more specific.

Subject: [AGY] Looking for OWEN, JONES, WILLIAMS,and HUGHES of
Aberffraw/Trefdraeth/Bethel
Greetings from Australia !!
I am back on the track with my AGY roots presently. I have done a lot of
work so far and seek some of the surnames as mentioned above.
Some of them are current ones. Especially the family of Owen F JONES, a
Janet KING. I know you are out there somewhere.
The OWEN family came from Bethel(1810s), the HUGHES side from Aberffraw
(1800s), WILLIAMS from Gwalchmai/Trewalchmai (1830s).
If these names Jack Chester, Jack Melinydd, or Thomas John ring a bell, or
remember anyone owning Canadian geese as pets in the 40s-50s, please email.
Many thanks, John
