I guess this is the marriage you are looking for, it took place in St. Eleth
church, Amlwch. Either the paper or the vicar got the date wrong!

Subject: [AGY] John Hughes & Sarah Grace Jones Marriage in 1849
The Welsh Mariners site (
www.welshmariners.org) reports this on a John
Hughes & Sarah Grace Jones Marriage in 1849.
Marriage on the 21st inst., at Amlwch, by the Rev Morris Williams, Capt
John Hughes, of the brig 'Agnes', to Sarah Grace, eldest daughter of Mr.
Jones, agent to the Harbour Dues and Smelting Works. - North Wales
Chronicle, 27 Nov 1849. The 21st must be the marriage date.
Does anyone have a book or record showing the parents of this couple?
Can I confirm the exact date of this marriage since 27 Nov. 1849 might be
the date of the paper? I think this must be a chapel marriage.
The Agnes was the brig captained by my Hughes men earlier.
Thanks,
Betty Pace
