Hello .
? I have recently found that an ancestor,John Edwards b.c.1829, of my
late husband was born in Anglesey . Details of his place of birth there
varies on different censuses. On the 1881 census he was in Pontrhydyfen
,Glamorgan and it only gave his birth as Anglesey. The 1871 gave his
place of birth as Llanerchymedd, the 1861, Amlwch .(he was by then in
Glamorgan). On the 1851, I found him in Pentraeth as an apprentice tailor
,born in Pentraeth . As there were a few John Edwards born in Anglesey
around that time ,I've checked the 1841 but can't be sure which one of
them he is. I've tried to find clues in the names of his children but I
only have 2 sons ,David and Thomas (David being the direct link to the
tree ),the other 2 are girls . If there's anyone else researching this
family ,I'd be delighted to hear from you so that we can swap information
. If anyone else can give me some assistance that could help me in
establishing who his parents were ,I'd be very grateful .
? Thanks /Diolch
