Subject: Evan Thomas
Known facts from this THOMAS family:
****************************
The grandfather was William John Thomas. William's father's name was John
Thomas and his grandfather was Evan Thomas who lived at Tyn Clewt in
Llandegai but is buried in Llanllechid.
Could Evan Thomas possibly be William's brother as the first son is usually
named after the grandfather. Unknown when William arrived in the USA but he
applied for citizenship in 1885 and he possibly worked in Canada before
settling in Vermont or New York.

Thanks in advance for any help with these families,
