For 30 years I have been looking for my David Davies (b.1811)'s
parents....and now believe I have. A baptism entry in the parish records and
found by myself on microfilm is as follows:
Dafydd, son of Dafydd Williams and Catherine his wife.
Dafydd became David/ Dafydd Davies when he married in 1835.
A subsequent search in the same records for their marriage found:
1798 - Dafydd Williams of Llanwenllyfo and Catherine Jones of this parish
(Llandyfrydog).
So I was wondering if anyone is researching JONES of Llandyfrydog or WILLIAMS
of Llanwenllyfo?????????
