Subject: [ANG] St. Eleth's Cemetery Inscriptions--Parry
Does anyone have the memorial transcriptions from St. Eleth's
churchyard?
Stone B018 gives the names of the deceased children of John and Anne
Parry of Llanpatrick. When I viewed the film, I did not take down the
names of these children and now wish I had. I viewed stone B018 on
www.amlwchdata.co.uk. However, the results were a little confusing and I
wonder if someone with the book of transcriptions could double check for
me.
Here's what the web site said about the Parry children on stone B018:
Parry, William - died 19 Jan 1776 6 mos. (thus born 1775)
Parry, John - died 23 April 1764 4 years (thus b. 1760--THIS IS THE ONE
THAT SEEMS ODD--could this be 4 months?)
Parry, Hugh - died 6 April 1764 1 year (thus b. 1763)
There were also some Jones children (John, & another John) buried under
stone B018. I don't know who these are, as well as the adult William
Parry, d. 31 July ?? or the William Jones died 11 Oct. 1788 age 53, wife
Jane. I know the Thomas family of Anne Thomas Parry, so these aren't her
people.
It seems a strange collection of people under stone B018.
The parents of the Parry children (John & Anne Thomas Parry) are buried
in plot B002, but many years later.
