Check these databases for them. I imagine he was at Amlwch where the
seaport is.

Subject: [ANG] ISAAC family in Anglesey and Merseyside
Hi everyone,
I have come across a tragedy in our family .. my great-uncle EDWARD WILLIAM
EVANS (b. 1860) died at the fairly early age of 39, two years after
marrying JANE ANN ISAAC. Jane sent my Evans grandparents an invitation
to attend his funeral.
I have obtained their marriage certificate - they married in Birkenhead in
1897 (no previous marriages). Jane's father was a sea captain, WILLIAM
ISAAC. One of the witnesses was MARY ELLEN ISAAC (one of her sisters).
I looked the family up in the 1881 UK Census - they were living in Anglesey
in Wales at the time...
WILLIAM ISAAC born c. 1831 in Newport, Wales.
FANNY ISAAC (wife) c. 1837 Liverpool
MARIA L ISAAC c. 1864 Liverpool
JANE ANN ISAAC c. 1862 Liverpool
MARY ELLEN ISAAC c. 1871 London
RHODA ISAAC c. 1874 Anglesey
DAVID JOHN ISAAC c. 1876 Anglesey
JANE HEALEY (mother) c. 1803 Caernarvon, Wales.
I have some knowledge about my Evans family and its business (made tin
trunks for the Cunard Shipping Line..Evans Yard was at 214 Chester Street,
Birkenhead) , but know very little about Edward, his wife and her family. I
would love to hear from anyone who recognises them.
John Hollins in Nottingham.
