I've been told it has been mentioned in a book circa 1797 and is described
as a smuggling ship!!

My sister in law has a picture of a schooner called the Princess of
Wales
which was registered in Amlwch Anglesey sometime during the early 1800's.
It
was owned by William Roberts who I'm told, was related to the
Jones family
of Tynywaen or Pensarn, Llaneilidan.
Anyone know anything about this ship?
