I would be very grateful if anyone can
supply information about Owen Jones,
known as Owain Mathafarn 1770-1855,
who has works in the Ashby Manuscript
Collection at Bangor University Library.
I have been unable to find mention of him
in my book collection or on the web. He
would appear to havecome from
Llanfairmathafarneithaf, Anglesey,
and thus I wonder if he is a minor bard
related to Gronwy Owen.
Any scraps, or more, welcome!
Thanks,
Austin Hughes.
Hello,
I read your message regarding your research; and, I have Owen Owens also. I
have an Owen Owens, grocer, born 1750, Caernarfon. Do not know if any info
I have would be of help to you or not. Please contact me if you feel there
is information I may be able to share with you that would benefit your
search. This is such an arduous process, isn't it?
Barbara
