Good morning,
A number of my elusive Jones family members lived in the area of the
Blackbridge Foundry in Holyhead during the mid to late 1800s.
Current maps do not seem to show the foundry nor the street Blackbridge
where many of my Jones family lived.
Does anyone know the history of the Blackbridge Foundry or the name of a
book describing the foundry?

I am looking for the ancesters of Thomas Lewis, born in Llanddyfnan in 1829.
Later Mayor of Bangor and Sheriff of Caernarfonshire. There was a family
house in Llansadrwn in the late 19th and early 20th century. I believe the
Hugh Lewis, buried in Llansadwrn Churchyard may be Thomas's Father.
I am looking for the Parry family of Beddau Mawr, Llanffinan.
Jane Ann Parry was born in 1857 the daughter of John Parry (1819-1901) and Elin(1821-1900).
In 1871 John and Ellin appeared in the census for Beddau Mawr, Llanffinan, with John's father John, born 1792. John (1818-1901) was born in Tregaean parish, while Elin was born in Llanfihangel Tre'r Beirdd. They do not appear in the 1861 census for Llanffinan, but a daughter Ann was buried in 1860 aged 16, at Rhosymeirch Congregationalist Chapel, and said to be of Beddau, Llanffinan.
I would be grateful for any information about the above, especially the marriage of John Parry and Elin, although this will obviously be difficult to identify with these being such common names.
My mother-in-law Laura Lillian Arch (formerly Davies) was a member of the Bardic Circle in the 1920s as Awen Mai. Does anyone know of a web-site or an e-mail number that I may be able to find out more about her involvement?
Jane Arch
I have been building up a collecton of Amlwch census data to include on my web site.
The site produces a significant number of enquires for census data from other areas of Anglesey.
Has any one any census data for other areas which they would allow me to incude on the site?

Niel,
You might check to see if you could link to this 1851 Holyhead Census as
transcribed by Joyce and Douglas Hinde.
