Hmmm I'm stumped! I can't find it either. I'm cc'ing this to the rest of
the WI county hosts. Perhaps one of them will know.
How about it gang. Anyone know where this was/is?

Hi Robin.
I am trouble locating a site in WI. and hoped you could give me an idea
where it is, or was, or if ever existed.
I have an old family bible for my gg-grandparents. In the center on the
marriage certificate they wrote:
Holy Matrimony waas celebrated between
Joshua G. Roberts of Maquanego, Wis. and Priscilla H. Meader of Maquanego,
Wis. on June 1st 1843 at Maquanego, Wisc by Stillwell
Witness: James Meader
Witness: Nicea Meader
I am assuming that Stillwell was the minister or justice of the peace's
name. The witnesses were her parents.
I cannot find where Maquanego, Wisc or Maguanego, Wisc is. Can you help
me??? Have you ever heard of this town. I have written some inquiries to
various counties, but I have not had a response. Any help or ideas you can
give would be appreciated. Thanks.
