Someone was looking for Tom CHRISTOPHERSEN. I don't remember if it was
this
list or another so I'll post to both.
Here's what I have:
Thom (Tom), the son of Knut Kristofferson Bjorkum and Ingeleiv Knutsdtr.
Gram, was born on June 3, 1861 near Yuba in Richland County, Wisconsin. In
1903, he moved to Eidsvold in Clark County where he purchased a farm.
Tom
made his home there until 1918 when he retired and moved to Stanley,
Chippewa County, Wisconsin. He never married and his sister, Betsy, kept
house for him. She preceded him in death in 1929. They took two children
into their home, a niece, Essie Christopherson, and a nephew, Charley
Peterson. Charley probably moved into their home after the death of his
mother, Anna, in 1905. Tom adopted Charley; changing his name from
Charley
Peterson to Carl Christopherson. Tom died on February 12, 1937 in
Stanley.
He was buried in the East Cemetery in Stanley.
