Sue Baker,
I'm finding that what used to be an enjoyable hobby has become too
time-consuming and is now something I no longer look forward to doing. I
get up for work at 5:30am and get home 5:00pm or later and what few free
hours I have, is no longer is spend on my own genealogy research. Also my
job is keeping me on the road too much and I don't find using my home-time
catching up on this project as well as the county coordinator activity as
well very quality time.
Regretfully, I am asking that you find someone to assume responsibility for
the archive work for the following counties: Buffalo, Trempealeau and La
Crosse.
Also please let me know how I can be removed from this mailing list, the
traffic is more than I need right now.
Thank you,
Dale Ebersold

Subject: [WIGEN-L] Archives happenings since 9/20
It's been such a quiet week for me, that I almost forgot
about sending out this note <g>. However, the archives
volunteers have been busy and have put up files:
Clark Co. - obit
Jackson Co. - death record, history
Langlade Co. - obituary index, newspaper index
Pierce Co. - cemetery
Racine Co. - newspaper index
Rock Co. - obits
St. Croix Co. - newspaper index
Taylor Co. - newspaper articles, obits
I've also added state wide GenConnect boards to collect
files in all categories. Haven't seen any action on the
board yet, but then that usually takes time.
I've received some obituaries for Rock Co. that have to be
extracted and posted, and some ship passenger lists
that also need some formatting work before posting.
These probably won't be completed until late on Sunday.
I'll be out of touch and offline from late Friday afternoon
until late Sunday afternoon.
Sue
