It's been pretty busy since the last update. <g> First, thank you to everyone
who wrote and said I could use things from their county pages. I haven't gotten
to everything you said I could, but I'm trying! I'd also like to thank all the
county
archives volunteers who have been putting up information. The archives wouldn't
have nearly this much new material without them. And, of course, the individuals
who contributed.
Here's what's gone up:
Brown - 2 obits, refresh of 1860 census, marriage list
Calumet - history, 14 obits
Clark - biograph, 2 obits
Crawford - 16 cemeteries
Juneau - marriage list
LaCrosse - 4 obits
Manitowoc - church info, land records, military records, county directory
for 1901-1902, declaration of intent listing, Kiel residents 1901-1902,
Two Rivers tax roll (1870), 1850 & 1870 census mortality list
Oconto - 1 cemetery, 3 military lists, 2 obits
Pierce - 1 bio,
Portage - 1850 census
Richland - 2 cemeteries
Walworht - 1 cemetery
Waupaca - 1 obit
Family Group Sheets - 4
Ship lists - 10
A lot of these files went up today, so aren't included in the statistics,
but as of 6AM CST today, WI has 13.2M of files in the archives and
we're ranked 28th. Unfortunately, the statistics for the last 30 days
have disappeared, so I can't tell you how we've done in the last
month.
