I think this is a grand idea. Want to split the copying since I have a copy
of the book also? I'll copy some and you can copy some. I may have a lead
on another copy of the book if anyone is interested, but it could be a
couple weeks before I can get it. I believe the price on this one was
either 13 or 17 dollars.

me, I could/would put those lists up on my sites. I'll reimburse you
copying costs and postage.
Maybe we could all do the same & link them all together? Then WI would
have a lock on WWI info.
IL is doing something similar with the Civil War, they rifled the AGR
for companies specific to IL counties, people copied them & distributed
to CC's and others who were willing to type the lists & histories in.
It's slow going, but it's expanding. They got space at Rootsweb (kind
of in the USGW archives area) and each county links to their companies
there.
