Hope your Labor day weekend has been great... and you found time to squeeze
in genealogy, too.
Here's a cool site I ran across... Harold B. Lee Library in Provo UT (BYU)
has digitized a large portion of their collections and have put them online --
FREE access... if you aren't familiar with the BYU library, it is very
similar to the Family History Library in SLC, but this is on the BYU campus. The
website is pretty cool as you can search by surname or place name and it'll
list the books/documents that contain these names... and the next screen will
take you to the exact scanned in page of the book! Lots of biographies
listed and if you just want the county name, I just typed in Shawano and got the
list of books containing that word...
