Jan - I was wondering - it sounds from your email that the person
reveiwing did the emailing directly to you? Is that right?
no, no........the form is sent to the SC/ASC. THEY do the emailing to the
CC.
I would think this could cause hard feelings and maybe if this type of
system is eventially put into place in WI - that all of these emails
should be handled by the State Coordinator.
That's the way it's done in IA. The double check EVERYTHING that the
volunteer has done for the review. Otherwise, it can be a problem,
yes. That Jan was offended, is sad.....because it does make for better
sites.....and actually isn't any different than Tina and MAK have done for
WI, except that the reviewing is done FOR them....then THEY do the double
checking and send the findings on to the CC of the site. In NO way does
the reviewing CC have the final say!!
Maybe a system where the review team only reports their findings to
the
State Coordinator and State Asssistant Coordinator and the final email
etc. coming from them??
That's what IA is doing.
Tina-Do you do a reveiw of the WI sites now? How often is this done?
I do hope whatever we all decide on, it doesn't become so bogged down that
it scares volunteers away.
I do like the page that Mari referred to. A pretty complete page for the
new members of the project, etc.
Hooray. I agree.......And that's the quality there is.....and I feel would
help WI too!
Heck....I'm WI born and bred. You think I'd trade my cheesehead hat for a
corncob one?? No way!! LOL
