Finally have some time to let you know what has been happening with Juneau Co. We are a
quiet group but very productive.
So far we have the following info:
Birth Index - 1030+ names
Marriage Index - 920+ names
Death Index - 2600+ names
Civil War Veterans - 460+ names, along with some names for all other wars.
Census Years - 33 completed and 43 partial (this was started before Rootsweb started the
Census project)
Graduation Classes - 1878 through 1978 (some years & names still missing) and a lot
more information.
I just added a search engine for the Juneau Co. WIGenWeb page.
I have been very fortunate to have a great group of Juneau Co. researchers who have been
so willing to donate information. If it wasn't for them the web page wouldn't be
what it is today. Since I took over in January 1998 there has been over 13,000+ visitors
so far.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your hard
work
that is abundantly demonstrated within your county pages, and for your
enthusiasm for the WIGenWeb Project and the County pages you host. I look
forward to working with each of you in the new year.
As part of this roll call, I would also like to have each of you tell the
group what is new with your county. Over the last couple of months, Tim,
Kelly, and I have added the items that we have put together on the "What's
New" in Wisconsin link at the bottom of the State page. I would like to
start featuring some of your many valuable county resource links to this
page and also get feedback from each of you as what ideas that you have to
improve and enhance the WIGenWeb Project pages.
