This is news to me, thanks for sharing. I'll be on the lookout for
problems on my site. What browser are you testing this in?

Did all the CC's who are staying on Rootsweb get an email about
where to find the alternate banners??? I snipped it below -
Now, Since that email - did we get one telling us how to insert that
code on our pages so it stays on the top - If I make any changes to
my pages at all, like fixing a link, the Banner moves to the bottom
and - the page format (which looks good in my preview) does not read
properly in my browser after the change is uploaded (it messes up
the tables somehow) - or am I the only one experiencing this
issue? Can one of you computer literate people who figured this out
send me an email explaining on what I need to do step by step -
thanks. I thought I was pretty good at web programming but this is
kicking my butt -

The banner that we have negotiated identifies the USGenWeb
Project as being hosted by RootsWeb and RootsWeb as a
community of The Generation Network.
The banners are viewable here:

Any USGenWeb Project site that wishes to have the USGenWeb Project
specific banner instead of the generic/freepages banner will be
supplied with code to insert on their pages in order to cause that
banner to show up when their pages are viewed. The line of code
they will provide us is not a replacement banner. It will simply
include a parameter on the page that the server can read when
rendering the banner that will tell it to render the customized
USGenWeb [Project] banner instead of the default one.
