Here I sat last night, so happy because, after 6 long weeks of
struggling with the rain, and having a tarp over some part of my house,
my son had just finished putting the last shingle in my new roof. An
hour later came the storm warnings, with preditions of 1'' hail (not on
my new roof!!) and 100 mph winds (not on my new roof, please).
Waupun (in both Fond du Lac and Dodge counties) suffered the most, and
the TV and newspapers pictures are unbelievable. Some areas still
without services, (power, etc.) and many damaged buildings.
One man lost his life, and it was because his farmhouse was in the
direct path of the tornado.
But others were more fortunate, experiencing only high high winds.
But we are survivors, can't drown us, can't blow us away.
How about some sunshine for a little while. Package it up and send it
along with your next emails!!!
