Only in part Mari. The "politically correct" comment gave me pause. I
strive to tell you all what I know. I am not one to intentionally mis-state
or mis-represent.
Rootsweb provides a great service to all of us that are list administrators,
and they work very hard to keep us all abreast of issues. I can only trust.
Speculation is not productive.

Subject: Re: [WIGEN-L] AOL & County Mailing Lists
Tina,
I sure hope my remark didn't prompt this!
While I stated that I usually let AOL bounces run their course, that in no
way says that I am "asleep at the switch" in dealing with my list(s) as
admin.
The only reason I said what I did, is that AOL, at least from my
experience, habitually, and frequently bounces list mail for whatever
reason. It's been an ongoing problem for years, and while I do know about
the problem, and RW's strivings to eliminate the problems, doesn't change
the way I as list admin still have to deal with it.
Until it IS resolved, there is literally not much an admin can do except
to
hope.
