Since many WI families immigrated west to Minnesota along with the
lumber company and farming movements, starting in the late 1800's, I
thought this would be of interest.
The Minnesota Historical Society has posted an online index to death
certificates for the years 1908 - 1946. The index provides name,
certificate number, date of death, and county of death. There are
fields for date of birth, place of birth and mother's maiden name,
but most of these have not yet been filled. Hey, maybe that is where
great-aunt Mabel and uncle Fred disappeared to? Check it out at:
