I am one of many people experiencing the result of a rampant virus on
other computers. My system is clean, but because my e-mail address is in
their books, my mailbox is overloaded with spontaneously sent e-mail
with 2 lengthy file attachments on each one. My important messages get
bounced because my box is full of abuse mail. It has been 9 days and the
Canadian server has blocked their virus user, but not the American
server (Earthlink).
So here is a really useful FREE tool to pre-view your e-mail, regardless
of the address(s) or server(s).
http://www.mail2web.com/
Simple to use, no sign-up, just go there and see what is in your box,
read and/or delete what you don't want to download to your own computer
and save your own system (and nerves). You do not have to wait through
the long download virus messages to delete them nor have them go to your
own e-mail trash for dumping. If an e-mail is suspicious, you open it on
that site and decide what you want to do BEFORE it is on your own
computer. I have received no advertising from this company after using
their free service and have heard no complaints from others who us it.
I apologize to anyone who has had their messages to me returned. I am
trying to keep my box cleared out as often as possible while
communicating with the server about blocking these virus generated
messages. Hopefully this site will be useful to others as it has to me.
