Speaks for itself - Rita
Subject: FW: NAI - Another Fake Email
PM Greeting Card -
UPDATE
Greetings,
Today AVERT discovered the third Email Greeting Card (similar to the
Friends
Greeting application) that poses as a greeting card sent to you but
isn't
and obviously does something you don't want it to do - mass mail
itself to
many people.
If you have a mail in your inbox with the Subject Line "you have a
funny
card from" DO NOT open simply DELETE it. This is the new one
discovered
today.
Please note there have been some questions about our detection of
these of
programs. We can detect the programs when an On-Demand scan is
performed
using VirusScan's command line program. This is the only way at this
point
the desktops can detect and correctly identify them. Our perimeter
products
have the ability to detect as well.
For more information on this latest application mailer go here

For the previous versions go to
http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_99760.htm
and
http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_99789.htm
These sites will give details on the applications along with the
detection
and removal.
BE CAREFUL when opening ANY message. As we've been saying for
sometime now
you can't trust most any mail today as it may not always come from
someone
you know.
Sincerely,
Steve Thallman
