Expressing strong thoughts, concerns, passions and beliefs about the
issues facing us is one thing, and a natural part of these uncomfortable
"growth spurts" that arise in all successful, dynamic and spirited
volunteer organizations.
Making personal attacks, taking "sides", name-calling, and slinging
angry hurt-fulled personal resentments are quite another thing, and it
belongs in private mailings IF it belongs anywhere. There are no sides
here, only one important effort.
Stop, take a breather, settle down and don't lose sight of all that we
have been able to do together, and still stay strong, independent,
creative individuals. Please, step back a little and look at the bigger
picture; show respect for each other and for ourselves. This is not
something that will be completely settled right now, but it will grow
into some kind of mutual, beneficial understanding over time and with
our obviously abundant care. We will work this out. I know us, and I
will bet the family farm on that.
