Ellen,
Have you reported him to the Wisconsin State Historical Society? They are
very
sharp with folks who improperly use their own copyrighted transcripts and
materials, and I would think that they would want to at least look into
this
flagrant copyright violation of your material. Can you produce notes/data
with
the date you were doing the work? And when you posted it? It would predate
his
posting. That society is not in a position to be harboring any bad
relations
right now. I think they would take your protest letter quite seriously. You
can
at least try. Bypass the guy (fill in your own word for him) and go
directly to
the people at the top of the WSHS. Rita
