Hi Nance,
I have loaded it and zoomed from one end to the other, I also tried
zooming while it was loading and I don't have any problems at all. I am
only guessing, but I have to wonder what system she is using or if perhaps
she has a virus. I have a friend who only on select websites, not all of
them, but they would look like someone tossed water on paint. Other
websites were fine and when she discovered she had a virus and took care of
it, her problem with the certain websites went away. It seemed the ones
with more graphics did this to her, but I don't see that you have a big
bunch of graphics on your site.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help,
All,
I had a wonderful response to my question about the National Home and the
Wisconsin Veterans Home. The National Home is located in Milwaukee,
Milwaukee County, Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Vets home is located in King,
Waupaca County, Wisconsin.
For those of you who mentioned it was near Sheboygan, just for future
reference, it isn't located near Sheboygan. I have Sheboygan & Calumet
County and really had to start thinking twice as to what the insane asylun
was called before it was torn down way back when.
Again I thank all who responded and helped, it is neat to see how many
people are willing to help out,
Debie

Hello fellow CC's,
I received a message this afternoon from someone who has tried to view
the Sawyer Co. WIGenWeb page, but has not been able to. I don't know
the reason why this person can't get the page to load right. This is
the only complaint that I've had on this page. Would someone mind
checking it out to see if it loads up correctly for you or not? I've
checked it with both Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.0 and can't re-create the
problem. The URL is:

any help or advice you can give me.
Oh, here is a copy of the complaint so you will know what this person
was experiencing (she's using IE) :
Dear Nance,
Your WebSite for Sawyer Co. looks good when I first enter, but as I
scroll it gets smeary and I cannot find or click on any of the
links. I was able to print out a good portion of each page (the right
side was cut off) and it looks like you have a lot there, but
cannot access any of it because of whatever is happening when I try to
scroll to the side or down.
Hope this can be fixed. I had relatives in Sawyer Co. during the first
part of 1900 and hope to find more info.
None of the other Web pages I have gone to have done this.
Thanks for your help.
