Hi Tina,
The sites should be back up. We're still restricting ftp access as we check through
the different directories again. By shutting down ftp access, it appears that we
contained the infection, thank goodness. We want to be sure of that, though, so until we
can make our way through everything one more time, no passwords will be issued.
Hope that helps a bit - believe me, I'd love to turn everyone loose to work on their
sites - but, more than that, I want to make sure that we've got a clean site.

Subject: Websites?
Hi Tina -
What is going on with the websites? Have they finished with the sites from this last
problem of hacking? I am getting several emails about asking where the Waushara and
Waupaca sites have gone and everyone is getting the following message. This has been going
on for about a week or so now - any idea when it is going to be repaired, etc.?
Error 403: Forbidden
You don't have permissions to access this page. This usually means one of the
following:
this file and directory permissions make them unavailable from the Internet.
.htaccess contains instructions that prevent public access to this file or directory.
Please check file and directory permissions and .htaccess configuration if you are
able to do this. Otherwise, request your webmaster to grant you access.
I see that Clark, Douglas, Iron, Oneida, Trempealeau, Vilas and Washburn counties are
giving the same message. I am assuming these are the counties that are housed on the same
server?
What I find a little curious though is the Wisconsin state homepage comes up fine??
I noticed Tina the following links Click on the county of your choice. For a table of
Wisconsin counties, click here and WIGenWeb Home Page on the following page
http://www.wigenweb.org/map.html are broken. I didn't know if you were aware of them
or not.
