look at the address it was sent to... if it is
listname-request(a)rootsweb.com then it did not appear on the list and would
have come straight to you without the usual bounce headers. I received the
exact same email you quoted sent to two mail lists I maintain today. In
both instances it was to listname-request directly and did not go to the list.
Hope no more of these some through.
