Amen Mary!
I may have to make you all groan, but I have to say each and
everyone of you are "moo"varelous!
I am still reading and am "udder"ly amazed at everyone's
involvement with family, community and your love of genealogy.
Your care shows on your pages and interaction with visitors!
Amazing how it all goes hand in hand!
I haven't said what is going on with me. The WI Tombstone
Photo pages has exploded. What truly started out as a "few"
has blossomed into now close to 175,000 photos, and growing
daily. Its amazing on many levels. I have 'met' the most
incredible couple .. WIGenWeb Project is very indebted to
Larry and Linda Kopet, their incredible work, care and
enthusiasm has inspired (for lack of a better word) many
visitors and some here on this list to be in my in-box daily! I
wouldn't be human if I didn't wish for snow every once in a
while in WI .. <kidding>!! I thank you all for you comments,
suggestions, corrections, encouragement and contributions!
Door county is also growing and I have taken fondly to
Columbia County. The researchers there are active and
involved and eager have a new County Coordinator to work with
them.
I truly thank you all for everything you do, to make the
WIGenWeb Projet Genealogy at its very best!
Tina

Ozaukee County checking in.
It sure sounds like everyone has awfully busy lives -
parents, kids, grandkids, pets, careers, etc. And if
you're like me, don't you find that genealogy is a
wonderful way to step away from everything else even
if it's just for a little while?
All kinds of information has been added to the site of
the smallest county in the state. As more researchers
have found their way to Ozaukee County, many have been
kind enough to contribute family and area information
to the site.
A wonderful volunteer is helping me transcribe local
news from microfilmed copies of old area newspapers.
Two different areas of the county published newspapers
so we have our work cut out, but it's so interesting
and I think a very valuable resource. I'm glad to
learn about the Obituary Project and will work to
extract the obits from what we've done so far and add
them.
I'm also transcribing the 1905 state census for
Lincoln County where my dad's family was from.
I think we should all be proud of the great job we're
doing!
