Grant County reporting in. My site will be 10 years old in March and is
desperately in need of an overhaul. I have plans to redesign it but I've
been saying that for the past couple of years LOL. Since I live in Virginia,
I subscribe to one of the Grant County newspapers and add obituaries to my
index every week. Roxanne Munns contributed a load of biographies from the
1881 Grant County history book. Where were my family members when those
biographies were written?
On the personal front, our daughter moved her wedding up from May 2008 to
August 2007, so we're in the (death) throes of planning that; our simple (we
thought) project of having the exterior of the house painted has resulted in
much of the siding and a window being replaced, and gutters installed so
that we don't have to go through this again; our church is celebrating 50
years this year and I am involved with a commemorative quilt. I designed it,
have had some help sewing the blocks which are almost done, and then will
sew them into a quilt top. I love to sew quilt tops but I'm a lousy machine
quilter so we will send it out to a longarm quilter. And of course, I work
full time, too. Oh and I've taken up the guitar. Had to drop my weekly
lessons over the holidays but hope to get back to them shortly.

Washington County. Not sure if I should say "here" because I'm mostly not.
Too much life, not enough time to keep up. *sigh*
