An Excel worksheet will hold 64,000 entries to get around that, use separate
worksheets within the same workbook to hold more.

Hi, I am not UP on Excel but I know the gal doing our cemetery excel files
says it won't hold that much.? But, further checking should be done to be
sure.

Subject: [WIGEN] Quick Excel question
Hi,
Hope everyone's New Year is off to a good start... I have a question that
was asked of me by a researcher and I didn't know the answer -- so I'm
hoping
someone up here does... his question is regarding a database in Excel --
he is
trying to add several smaller files to make one large file -- the large
file
would be about 40 meg -- about 120,000 entrees... will Excel handle it or
does he need a different program?
Thanks in advance....
