I am very pleased you are safe and sound Jackie.. bless you! 10 hours in a
closet with cats can't be fun .. NO more hurricanes!

Power is now back up at least for us. Hurricane Frances was a
pussycat
compared to Jeanne. I spend 10 hours in the closet along with the cats and
eventually I had to give 2 of them tranquilizers in order to calm all of
us
down :-) Hubby was in bed during the entire storm, again. What a
hurricane
season this has been. Two hitting us in exactly 3 weeks and almost
to the
hour.
We lost our entire screen enclosure that was around the pool, which was
1000
sq ft. Plus lost a lot more roof tiles, but so far no leaks. Spent
the
last
2 days cleaning up the screen enclosure and hauling to the front yard
in
hopes of being picked up soon. But the good news is that our insurance
adjuster never made it after Frances and he called to let us know that we
will only have 1 deductible instead of 2. At least something has gone
right in the last 3 weeks.
I am covered from head to toe with bruises and cuts but thankfully we
still
have a roof over our head and power :-)
