Anne, FrontPage always dumps tons of unnecessary code into a webpage it
creates or edits (I laughed when Tina said she was guessing -- have you had
past experience with FP, Tina? Tee hee). The only way to rid yourself of it
is to edit in a text editor, but if you reload it into FrontPage, the stupid
program will redo the damage. :P
Html coders groan at the garbage in FP, it's considered the worst WYSIWYG
editor out there.
There's no answer except to get rid of FrontPage. But unfortunately, that
means either buying a decent webpage editor (at major cost), or learning
enough about coding to do it manually, which takes lots of time and
patience.
Sorry there's no "quick" answer, but I'm glad you were able to edit the
page
so it looks better. :-)

I looked at the code and there seems to be a lot of things that
aren't
necessary for it to actually work like dividers, etc... so I tried
changing how
the file was saved (various ways from text to doc to even ms dos and I
tripped
across something that apparently worked... no more did I get it pasted to
the
page and my computer froze up... so I'm not sure if I could reproduce what
I
did!! Anyway, it is up online and looks OK... SOMEDAY I'll buy "Html for
dummies" -- I promise!!!
Hope your weekend went well -- the weather here was just spectacular!
Thanks,
Anne
