Lori,
I really suspect my gr-gr-gr-grandmother is buried in East Jefferson Prairie
Cemetery with either an unreadable marker or none at all. But I keep hoping
that one day I am surprised by her name appearing on a cemetery list.
Her name was listed as Kari Gulbrandsdatter Kolbjornrud on the ships list;
married to Erik Anderson Uggen. Kari died 1851, within a few weeks of
arriving in Jefferson Prairie from Norway. Family tradition says Erik left
immediately after the funeral and bought land about 50 miles west.

Judy -
I have a complete transcription of Rock River Cemetery (with all
tombstones photographed) on the WIGenWeb-Rock County site. You can
go directly to the cemetery page with this URL

But there are no Uggen burials in Rock River (nor any Anderson
burials). Do you have the location of your gr-gr-great grandmother's
residence or death?
