Thank you for sharing..
Your post reminded me of my ex-husband's grandmother
while playing 63 (a card game). The two of trump was
worth 1 point, and usually when we were partners, that
is all I had to support her hand. Each time I would
say, I am sorry "Gram", and she would always reply ..
(and this may not be appropriate for this list <g>) ..
"that's okay honey, every little bit helps said the
old lady when she peed in the ocean". It always made
me giggle and over the years I have found it an apt
saying in life and genealogy!
(We usually won the game of cards..)
