I have an individual who is researching in Saratoga
Wood County, WI (1860-1870) and insists that Muscaday,
WI should be there -
Having lived in the county for over 17 years - I have
never heard of it... And the COW Book doesn't list
it. Perhaps it is an old name?
I did find a reference to Muscaday Mounds on the
internet - but it did not give a location -
Does anyone have a good answer - with a reference?
Thanks in advance.

Much of the population that spent time in northeastern Wisconsin in past
centuries can trace part of their lineage to Brown County and Green Bay
area families. The Bay Area Genealogy Society (yes, BAGS, they have a
sense of humor, too) has been in existence for decades. They are also
well established in not only family histories but cemetery burial
information.
BAGS now has a web site!!! You can learn about their activities and use
their free Grave Site Search engine on line. You just never know who you
will dig up.
