No Tricks - All Treats
Come, see what the Oconto County WIGenWeb volunteers and contributors
have been up to these past three months. The weather is getting chilly
and the nights are longer, so take a little time for yourself and enjoy
what we are offering.

* Pensaukee is celebrating 150 years and we are featuring family
histories and photographs from long ago. Some of these pages are looking
for descendant host contacts for direct e-mail links so researchers may
share with each other.
* Descendants of many families have posted family pages with the hope of
meeting and sharing more through e-mail. Fascinating reading even if you
are not related.
* Obituaries - lots of them - vintage, antique and recent with strong
ties to county families.
* Photographs - scores of ancestral photographs have been added. Are
they your ancestors?
* Newspaper articles on county family events, deaths, births and
marriages from over 100 years in the past. This was all written at the
time it happened!
* New "Men Who Shaped Oconto County History" postings. You will be
surprised to read the influence some had over national events.
* New "Women Who Shaped Oconto County History" postings. In Victorian
times, Oconto County was a center of classic education which offered
accomplished women to the world beyond it's boarders.
* Much, much more.
Our best to you always,
Rita - Coordinator
