Wow - more Waushara! I'm always tickled pink to see my roots grow, as are
the researchers.
WIGenWeb is one of the bestest! <g> I can't say *the* bestest, as you have
to share with MIGenWeb, but, we can be joint bestest. (New word I learned.)
LOL
Merry Christmas Everyone! Enjoy the holidays with family and friends and
stay happy, healthy and safe.

I would like to take this time to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and hope
you all have a happy and healthy New Year.
This has been a great year for the Waupaca County site and I have just
completed my 5th year as the webmaster/county coordinator for this site. A
thank you to all who have generously submitted photos, postcards,
obituaries, newspapers articles, etc. or have transcribed items for the
site. It is because of you the site has continued to grow and become what it
has today.
This past year has been a busy one on the site with many new items added.
The site now holds over 1500 headstone photos, over 430 Family photos,
census records which include the 1855, 1875, 1895 Waupaca County State
Census, 1885, 1890 and 1895 Soldier and Sailors Waupaca County census,
school directories, city directories, the 1874, 1889 and 1912 plat maps,
newspaper articles from 1856 to 1922, Waupaca County Asylum reports (most
include names of residence and those who died at the asylum) 1904-1921,
cemetery readings and much more.
I hope together we can continue to see the website grow even more in the
coming year.
Again thank you!
