Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Someone just asked me the following question...thought I would post it to
the list with the answer, in case someone else had the same question:
"I read your message to Linda about finding the archived mailing list
messages. Is there a central spot to type in a mailing list name and
achieve the same results as shown at
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/WIGEN I would like to occasionally
search some mailing lists I am not subscribed to, and so far have only
found the interactive search at
http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl (must enter a list
name and then a subject in a box to get results)"
"Tell me how?"
Answer: http://archiver.rootsweb.com
Hope that helps!

I do not prefer anyone in this election. I have remained totally neutral and will continue to do so.
I keep all correspondence that I have with nominees and have the URL's that I have been asked to post in my folders. Since Tina or R. Marie posted their own URL's on the list, I do not have them saved.
I believe, Linda, I answered your question to the best of my ability.
Bev.
USGenWeb EC
I was asked by Tim Stowell to post his Campaign URL www.rootsweb.com/~wirichla/elect03
I believe that R. Marie and that Tina have both stated their Campaign URL's on the WI list.
I have also stated that voting will begin on September 25th through October 2nd. The times voting will begin and end will be announced sometime today.

Would it be possible for the person who is coordinating this election to
create an election page with links to the 3 candidate sites and also
provide us with information about when the election will take place?
For us to have a balanced look at each candidate, I would appreciate it if
all candidates would answer the same questions.
Thanks,
Linda Schwartz
Dunn Co.
I'd like to invite both Tina and Tim to take a look at the questions I've
been asked, and then take a crack at answering them, if they haven't
already done so.
I think it's important for the County Coordinators to have points of view
from each of the candidates for all of the questions they've been asking.
R. Marie
I've added Questions 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15. Question 16 is still blank,
waiting for the next one!
Please take a look at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wirusk/sc/index.htm
Thanks!
R. Marie
In case you missed the previous e-mail, I've posted
responses to five more questions which were asked since
Saturday. Sorry I didn't get them out sooner. I took a
trip up to northern Wisconsin this weekend, and I didn't
get back home until last Sunday night.

Good morning WIGenweb listers!
Take a small moment away from visiting the Tina, Maria, and Tim's WIGenweb campaign websites and show your love for Wisconsin by voting for our state quarter!
Now through Friday, the state is taking FINAL votes for Wisconsin's commemorative quarter. Don't miss your chance.
If you want to vote for your quarter go here:
http://www.wdfi.org/newsroom/wi_quarter/default.htm
So... whats it gonna be? Deer, Explorers, or Cows&Cheese?
