I got this on one of the other lists so thought I would pass it along.
Starting at 8 a.m. PST Friday, February 23, RootsWeb will begin a
planned temporary downtime for maintenance of its servers and
hosting process. It will limit this downtime as much as possible, and
will return with increased performance and reliability for future
growth. The down time will be about 24 hours. If you do not receive
any postings during this time do not worry, all will be back up and
running soon.

Hi all,
This is what I found when viewing the Stevens Point ARC website at:
http://www.shsw.wisc.edu/archives/arcnet/stevens.html
More than 250 series of county and local public records including tax and
assessment rolls, rural school district records, probate records, county
board proceedings and justice dockets. Also in the holdings are
naturalization records for Adams, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Portage,
Waupaca and Waushara counties; pre-1907 birth, death and marriage
registrations; state and federal population censuses; and genealogical files
(98 boxes with card index) compiled at the time of the Wausau Centennial
(1972).
The ARC holds over 50 collections of papers and records produced by private
organizations and individuals. Among them are records (1900-1955) of the
Wisconsin Cranberry Sales Company, Wisconsin Rapids; papers (1857-1860) of
Burton Millard, a Wausau millwright; records (1854-1946) of the East
Lemonweir Lutheran Church; and tape-recorded interviews by Malcom Rosholt.
The library has a search feature on it's site as well for you to use

Bet Joan B is glad I asked this question (for the hundthreth time) yesterday
(grin), as she put up the information link - since I must ask this same
question at least once or twice a week: What is available at UW-St Point
Archives...
