My 2cents--I think the suckers are those that would spend $50 for this. I
think an information campaign to as many genealogy lists/sites as possible
to educate the most likely targets, genealogy newbies, would be our best
course of action. If the guy can't make any money, maybe he'll give up and
leave.

Okay, here is what I found out...
http://gene_olson.tripod.com/index.html
This individual is spearheading the effort to investigate
FamilyDiscovery.com, and has detailed his efforts and information thus
far.
Another link that was shared with me was
http://blacksheep.rootsweb.com/familydiscovery.htm
Holly's best advice, (thanks Holly), is "the best thing they can do is
simply label their sites clearly and have a way to get out of the
frame".
Some of you have asked for the code, and I have asked Holly to provide
it here. Holly, is a member of this list <VBG>, and is available to
answer any and all questions...
I hope that all of you will avail yourselves of the resources, and if
you have any questions or comments at all, direct them to the list to
be addressed.

I have heard from the author of my 1910 census pages which are being sold on

No, I have not had any dealings with them. I had

Hi Bob & All,
Actually checking this page out, this idiot has linked to Brown
County Michigan's site, if you go to his site, click on Brown county, go to
the bottom of the page, it takes you to Brown County, Michigan. It's bad
enough to be linking to our sites and charge money in the pre-text that it
is your own, it is a whole nuther matter to screw researchers up by giving
them the wrong info in general. This guy is a total duh!

Yes, Mary Beth Fay is doing the 1910 census's for Marathon County for me.
She is the owner of the page, and I link to it.
I have e-mailed Mary Beth to see if she knows anything about
FamilyDiscovery.com.
I would suspect that she does not. I will let the list know of her reply.
